Vexillology Lesson Plans from UNFORKIDS.COM

Vexillology is the study of flags. With 193 countries, including the flag of the United Nations, teachers have full-color and outline flags available to assist with studying the world.

Flag Parade

In this lesson plan, students form groups based on their ethnicity. They use UNFORKIDS.COM to find out more about their home country, and then present to the class and have a school parade.

Vexillology Game

This game helps students study flags and their countries and have fun at the same time. It makes studying geography more than just a wrote reading of statistical information. It takes about an hour to play.
